The moss dies progressively over 6–12 weeks after treatment, turning from green to brown to grey and eventually washing off in rain. The biocide provides residual protection of 2–4 years.
Pressure washing: High-pressure water application that physically removes moss but does not kill the root structures, so regrowth occurs faster than before treatment. More critically, pressure washing forces water under tile laps, can dislodge pointing and mortar, and physically damages the surface aggregate on concrete tiles. We never use pressure washing on roofs.
